Tommaso Giacomel

Tommaso Giacomel is an accomplished Italian biathlete recognized for his competitive spirit and consistent performances on the international biathlon circuit. After securing a 5th-place finish in the Junior Men 10 km Sprint at his international biathlon debut on December 9, 2017, at the Biathlon Junior World Cup in Obertilliach, Tommaso Giacomel quickly established himself as a formidable talent on the global circuit. His progression continued rapidly, earning a silver medal in the Sprint at the 2018 Biathlon Junior World Championships in the Youth category. The following year, Giacomel claimed a bronze medal in the Men’s 3×7.5 km relay at the 2019 Biathlon Junior World Championships.

Giacomel made a significant mark in the 2024–25 World Cup season by achieving his first individual World Cup victory, triumphing in the Mass Start event in Ruhpolding. Most recently, Giacomel added to his impressive collection of accolades with a silver medal in the 20 km individual event at the 2025 Lenzerheide Biathlon World Championships.
