During her two years as a free safety for East Los Angeles College, Harriss exceptional dedication and talent earned her six offers to play football at four-year universities. Her collegiate career was preceded by an impactful tenure at Redford Union High School, where she played wide receiver, cornerback, and free safety, actively petitioning school officials and confronting skepticism to compete on male teams, setting the precedent for her later groundbreaking achievements.
