Trevor Svajda

Trevor Svajda was born on April 20, 2006, in La Jolla, California. He began his tennis career early, eventually training under coach Matt Hanlin. Svajda is also the brother of fellow tennis player Zachary Svajda, and he attends Southern Methodist University, where he studies sport management. His collegiate career includes significant achievements, such as being named 2024 AAC Freshman of the Year and earning AAC All-Conference Singles honors. He has consistently played as SMU’s No. 1 singles player, demonstrating his skill and dedication to the sport.

Svajda transitioned from junior tennis to a professional circuit with notable progress. In 2023, he received a wildcard into the US Open qualifying rounds after reaching the final of the USTA Boys’ 18s National Championships. That same year, he earned his first ATP ranking point at the SoCal Pro Series event at the University of San Diego. Later, in February 2025, he received a wildcard to the 2025 Dallas Open, marking his ATP main draw debut. He has also competed in the boys’ singles at the US Open, where he reached the third round.

Svajda’s career highlights include winning three singles titles on the ITF World Tennis Tour. He secured victories at the M25 Calabasas in March 2024, and the M15 San Diego and M15 Lakewood tournaments in June 2025. His doubles career also features a title at the M15 Lakewood in June 2025. His career-high ATP singles ranking is world No. 388, achieved on October 13, 2025, with a career prize money of $92,513 (singles and doubles combined).
