Tri Bourne is a professional beach volleyball player born to triathlete parents Peter Bourne and Katy Bourne; Bourne hails from the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, and has been a part of the United States Indoor and Beach National Teams since he was just 15 years old.
Since then, Bourne has risen to astonishing heights in his career, not only has the athlete competed in the NCAA Division 1 of Men’s Volleyball for the USC Trojans, Bourne has managed to achieve this whilst battling an autoimmune disease – of which he is vocal about to his Instagram fans, numbering over 16 thousands, to motivate other athletes in similar situations.
Bourne is currently focusing on his podcast, Sandcast, which he hosts with fellow volleyball player Travis Mewhirter. Sandcast follows both the volleyball players as they discuss life on and off the sand, as well as talk to guest stars who are some of the top players of the sport, as well as the best commentators, including the likes of BounceBeach. When Bourne is not playing volleyball, he can be found with his young daughter and wife, often in nature or travelling – with both his wife, Gabrielle Bourne – an actress who has worked in films such as Journey Home and featured in adverts for the likes of Head and Shoulders and Nike – being devoted foodies. Bourne also works on YouTube to bring Volleyball related content to his fans.
