The inspirational Tunde Oyeneyin is a New York Times Bestselling author, Peloton Instructor, Nike Athlete, Motivational Speaker, and podcast host. She is also the founder of S.P.E.A.K. (Surrender, Power, Empathy, Authenticity and Knowledge), an Instagram Live series aimed at given a platform to those facing adversity. Her self-help book, Speak: Find Your Voice, Trust Your Gut, and Get From Where You Are to Where You Want To Be, was published in 2022.
Born and raised in Texas, Oyeneyin struggled with weight, her own body image and self-esteem while growing up. For 15-years she worked as a professional make-up artist and brand educator in Los Angeles, and then in 2015, after taking indoor cycling classes, her life changed. She walked away from her career to become a cycling instructor in the city, and in 2019, landed a prestigious role at Peloton Studios in New York City. She rose to fame on Peloton’s platform as her dedicated fan base would clip into their bikes and listen to words of encouragement and “Tunde-isms”, while pushing themselves to their limits both on and off the bike. From addressing human rights and racial injustice, to advocating the importance of “Soul Care,” Oyeneyin’s rides quickly became among the most sought-after classes on the platform.
Oyeneyin regularly connects with her hundreds of thousands of followers and fans through TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, posting pictures and comments about her motivational life. She also has an official website, speaktunde.com.
