Tyler Posey

Tyler Posey was born in Santa Monica, California, on October 18, 1991. He developed an early interest in the arts and began his professional acting career at the age of six. His early work includes a role as Raul Garcia in the television series “Doc” (2001–2004) and as Ty Ventura in the film “Maid in Manhattan” (2002). This early exposure to the entertainment industry provided a foundation for his subsequent career.

Posey gained significant recognition for his role as Scott McCall in the MTV series “Teen Wolf,” which aired from 2011 to 2017. During this period, he also expanded his involvement in the series by serving as a co-producer for its fifth season and making his professional directorial debut on one episode in 2017. Beyond “Teen Wolf,” his filmography includes roles in “Truth or Dare” (2018), “The Last Summer” (2019), and “Alone” (2020), where he also acted as an executive producer. Posey has engaged in voice acting, notably as Tony Toretto in the animated series “Fast & Furious: Spy Racers” (2019–2021) and Prince Alonso in “Elena of Avalor” (2016–2020).

In addition to his acting career, Posey is a musician. He fronted the band Lost in Kostko, which released an EP in 2011, and later co-founded PVMNTS and Five North, releasing EPs with both groups. His music has been featured in films. He reprised his role as Scott McCall in “Teen Wolf: The Movie” (2023), where he also served as a producer. His career includes numerous awards and nominations, such as multiple Teen Choice Awards and an ALMA Award.
