Vadim Timonov established himself as a formidable presence in the world of professional rock climbing after committing fully to the sport in 2012. By 2013, he earned a coveted spot on the Russian National Team, marking his official entry into elite competitive climbing. His outdoor bouldering prowess quickly became evident, notably in 2016 with his successful ascent of ‘Monkey Wedding’ (8C/V15) in Rocklands, South Africa, showcasing his exceptional strength and technical skill. The following year, Timonov further solidified his reputation with the groundbreaking first ascent of ‘Triangular Face’ (8C/V15) at Triangular Lake, Russia, in 2017 – a testament to his exploratory spirit and mastery.

Timonov’s consistent performance at the pinnacle of bouldering is further exemplified by numerous additional ascents across various renowned locations. These include ‘Black Eagle Assis’ (8C/V15), ‘Practice of the Wild’ (8C/V15), and ‘Noise vs Beauty’ (8B+/C (V14/V15)), demonstrating his sustained dominance in the V15 range.
