Ashima Shiraishi

Ashima Shiraishi is a world-renowned rock climber, known for her exceptional achievements from a young age. After becoming the youngest person to climb a V10 boulder problem in 2009, Ashima Shiraishi quickly established herself as a climbing phenom, achieving the grade at a remarkably early stage in her career. She continued to redefine climbing standards, becoming the youngest to climb a V12 boulder problem in 2010, followed by her groundbreaking ascent of a 5.14c sport route in 2012. These early, unprecedented successes garnered her international attention and solidified her reputation as a formidable talent capable of pushing the sport’s boundaries.

Following a period of intense focus on the 2020 Olympics qualifiers and subsequent burnout, Shiraishi embarked on a significant career transition, prioritizing outdoor climbing, exploration, and learning. This evolved focus led Shiraishi to found AllRise, an organization dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the climbing community, further establishing her commitment to positive social impact within her sport.
