Vanessa Angel has cultivated a career spanning decades, transitioning from a successful international model to an accomplished actress recognized for her roles in both film and television. After a highly successful international modeling career that saw her appear on numerous magazine covers including Vogue (1983) and Cosmopolitan (1985) following her discovery by renowned agent Eileen Ford in 1980, Vanessa Angel transitioned into an accomplished acting career. Relocating to New York City in 1982, Angel made her film debut in 1985, portraying a Russian spy in the John Landis-directed film Spies Like Us. To further hone her craft, she studied with Sondra Lee and became a member of The Actor’s Studio in New York in 1987, under the tutelage of Frank Corsaro.
Angel continues to expand her credits across film and television, with a recurring role in Crown Lake (2019). Her recent film projects include The Charisma Killers, released in 2024, and she is slated for an upcoming role in The Roaring Game, scheduled for 2025.
