Vanessa Jamiison

Vanessa Jamiison, born in Happy Valley, Oregon, developed an early interest in performance, actively pursuing vocal lessons and dance classes during her high school years. Her dedication to dance led her to become a competitive dancer. This early training provided a foundation for her career in the performing arts. In 2011, Jamiison participated in the first season of X-Factor, an experience that contributed to her development as a vocalist and performer. Following this, she received personal training from Robert Baker, owner of Millennium Dance Complex, after he recognized her talent during her audition for The Next Pop Star. These opportunities allowed her to refine her skills in both singing and dancing.

Throughout her career, Jamiison has released original music and collaborated on various projects. Under the name Vanessa Jamison, she released three singles: “Sheets,” “Basic,” and “Love You Like Me.” She also contributed to the dance music track “Ocean Avenue.” More recently, under the name Jamiison, she released “Just Don’t” in 2020 and was featured on Waves’s 2021 track, “Still Healing.” Her latest single, “Waiting On You,” was released in 2021.
