Vanessa Voigt

Vanessa Voigt was born on October 7, 1997, in Schmalkalden, Germany. She began her biathlon career and steadily progressed through the ranks, eventually joining the World Cup circuit. Her early career saw her compete in various junior events before making a significant impact in the senior categories. She joined the Salomon family in 2020, marking an early career milestone in securing brand partnerships.

Voigt achieved notable success in the 2020-21 season, winning the Biathlon IBU Cup. This victory established her as an upcoming talent in the sport. In 2021, she also secured a silver medal in the Relay at the European Championships held in Duszniki-Zdrój. Her consistent performance led to her selection for the German national team, where she has continued to contribute to team and individual achievements.

A major turning point in her career was her participation in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, where she earned a bronze medal in the Women’s 4x6km Relay. She continued her medal-winning streak at the World Championships, securing a silver in the 4x6km Relay at Oberhof in 2023 and a bronze in the same event at Nové Město in 2024. Throughout her career, she has accumulated 4 individual podiums and 11 relay podiums in the World Cup, including two gold medals in relay events in 2024–25.
