Viacheslav Krasilnikov

Viacheslav Krasilnikov, born on April 28, 1991, in Gelendzhik, Russia, is a professional beach volleyball player known for his defensive skills. He began his international career by finishing fifth in the 2009 World Youth Championship in Alanya. His formal debut on the World Tour grand slam stage occurred in 2012 in Moscow, partnering with Ruslan Bykanov. Krasilnikov continued to develop his career, participating in various national and international competitions. His early career saw him forming partnerships that laid the groundwork for his later successes in the sport.

Krasilnikov’s Olympic journey began at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, where he represented Russia in the men’s beach volleyball tournament. Partnering with Konstantin Semenov, the pair achieved a fourth-place finish, showcasing their competitive standing on the global stage. Following this, in 2017, he earned a bronze medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Vienna with Nikita Lyamin. A significant milestone in his career came in 2019 when, paired with Oleg Stoyanovskiy, he secured the gold medal at the Beach Volleyball World Championships in Hamburg, earning them a spot at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

At the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, representing the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) with Oleg Stoyanovskiy, Viacheslav Krasilnikov achieved a silver medal in men’s beach volleyball, marking a career highlight. Throughout his career, he has consistently performed at a high level, securing multiple medals in World Championship events, European Championships, and national championships, demonstrating his sustained contribution to the sport.
