Victor Hedman is an accomplished ice hockey defenseman and captain, celebrated for his extensive career and significant contributions to the sport. After being drafted second overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Victor Hedman made his NHL debut in October 2009, recording an assist in his first game and scoring his first NHL goal in December of the same year. His promising talent had previously earned him an SHL Rookie of the Year nomination in the 200809 season with Modo Hockey. Hedman signed a five-year, $20 million contract extension with Tampa Bay in 2011, making his NHL Playoffs debut that same year.
