Vineet Nayar

Vineet Nayar is a business executive, author, and philanthropist, renowned for his leadership at HCL Technologies and his impactful work with the Sampark Foundation. After establishing Comnet in 1993, a remote infrastructure management venture, Vineet Nayar built it into a $1 billion technology management business. His leadership at Comnet was instrumental in developing his ‘Employees First, Customers Second’ philosophy, which later defined HCL Technologies. In 1998, Comnet merged with HCL Technologies, forming HCL Comnet, where Nayar served as CEO.

He was also named among Foreign Policy’s ‘Top 100 Global Thinkers’ in 2016, and in 2018, SHRM ranked him 20th in ‘Top 30 Indian HR Influencers on Social Media’. He continues to serve as a senior advisor to HCL Technologies and was appointed to the board of the National Stock Exchange of India in July 2021.
