Vincent J. Guadagnino, born on November 11, 1987, in Staten Island, New York, grew up in a traditional Italian-American family. His mother immigrated from Sicily when she was 13. Guadagnino attended Susan E. Wagner High School and later studied at SUNY New Paltz before transferring to the College of Staten Island, where he earned a degree in political science. Prior to his television career, he had aspirations of attending law school.
Guadagnino’s career began in 2009 as an original cast member of MTV’s reality series “Jersey Shore,” appearing in all six seasons until 2012. Following the show’s initial run, he pursued acting, guest-starring on MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” and “90210,” and appearing in the Syfy movie “Jersey Shore Shark Attack.” In 2013, MTV launched his talk show, “The Show with Vinny,” which featured celebrity guests having dinner with him and his family. He later co-starred with his mother in “Vinny & Ma Eat America” on The Cooking Channel, further expanding his television presence.
In 2018, Guadagnino reunited with much of the original cast for “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” which has aired multiple seasons. He also appeared alongside Pauly D in MTV’s “Double Shot at Love” from 2019 to 2021. Demonstrating versatility, he undertook a month-long residency as a guest host for Chippendales at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in April 2019. His recent television appearances include competing as “Hammerhead” on “The Masked Dancer” in 2021 and as a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars” season 31 in 2022, where he placed seventh. Beyond entertainment, Guadagnino has launched clothing brands, authored a lifestyle book, and published “The Keto Guido Cookbook,” reflecting his advocacy for the ketogenic diet.
