Vivian Tu established herself as a formidable financial educator after a distinguished career on Wall Street, empowering millions with accessible financial literacy. Beginning her professional journey in 2016, Tu served as an Industrials/Energy Trader at J.P. Morgan, covering the Industrials, Materials, Energy, and Utilities sectors. She advanced to Special Situations Trading, specializing in Event-Driven M&A, Risk Arbitrage, and Spin-Offs until July 2018.

This success prompted her to leave her $600,000 annual salary position at BuzzFeed in March 2022 to found Your Rich BFF Media. The venture quickly blossomed into a digital community boasting over 8 million followers across various platforms, with her largest following cultivated on Instagram. Expanding her reach into audio, Tu launched her podcast, ‘Networth & Chill,’ in 2023, collaborating with Audioboom for its inaugural season.
