Wallis Day was born on September 20, 1994, in London, England. She developed an interest in acting at the age of five after attending ballets with her father. Day pursued formal training at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and later at the Arts Educational Schools (ArtsEd) in London. Her early career also included modeling; she signed with Models 1 at 13 and modeled for brands such as Garnier, Superdry, and Nike. She temporarily paused her modeling career at 16 to concentrate on acting pursuits.
Day’s acting career began with her debut feature film role as Lucy in *Between Two Worlds*. She gained early television exposure from 2012 to 2013, portraying Holly Cunningham in the British soap opera *Hollyoaks*. Her career progressed through various television roles, including Angelica in the 2015 television film *Casanova* and Olalla Jekyll/Hyde in the ITV series *Jekyll and Hyde* the same year. In 2016, she appeared in the Instagram original series *Shield 5* as Amy Williams and joined *The Royals* as Angie, a role she maintained until 2018. During 2017, she played Cressida Deveraux in the TNT series *Will*.
A significant period in Day’s career was her role as Nyssa-Vex in the Syfy series *Krypton* from 2018 to 2019, where she appeared in 20 episodes. In 2021, she was cast as Kate Kane in the CW’s *Batwoman* for six episodes, also portraying Circe Sionis. That same year, she starred as Agent Shin in Antoine Fuqua’s thriller *Infinite* alongside Mark Wahlberg and Chiwetel Ejiofor. More recently, Day joined the second season of Netflix’s *Sex/Life* as Gigi in a recurring role in 2022 and has taken on the role of Annisia in the upcoming film *Red Sonja*, scheduled for release in 2025. She also featured as Ryder in the 2023 Paramount action film *Sheroes*.
