Wang Han

Wang Han made an indelible mark on the international diving scene in 2005, clinching the women’s single 10-meter platform diving championship at the Asian Swimming Championships. Her trajectory in the sport began with her selection by the Hebei diving team coach in 2000, leading to her esteemed inclusion in the Chinese National Diving Team by 2008. She swiftly demonstrated her prowess, earning a gold medal at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou for women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard. This was followed by another significant victory at the 12th National Games of China in Liaoning in 2013, where she secured the women’s double 3-meter springboard championship.

Following this remarkable Olympic performance, Wang Han announced her retirement from international competition on April 5, 2022, marking the end of an illustrious athletic chapter. Immediately following her retirement, Wang Han transitioned into a new, impactful role as the coach of the Hebei diving team in 2022. In this capacity, she actively contributes to the sport by nurturing and developing emerging talent, sharing her invaluable expertise and championship experience. Her dedication and unparalleled achievements throughout her career have been recognized with significant national honors, including the esteemed China Youth May Fourth Medal and the distinguished National March 8 Red Banner Bearer award, further cementing her legacy as an icon in Chinese sports.
