Will Forte is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his extensive work in television and film, including his tenure on Saturday Night Live. After joining the renowned Groundlings improv troupe, Will Forte established himself as a versatile writer, contributing to ‘The Jenny McCarthy Show’ in 1997, and later to acclaimed sitcoms including ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’ from 1999 to 2001, and ‘That ’70s Show’ between 2001 and 2003. Forte achieved significant public attention when he joined the iconic ‘Saturday Night Live’ (SNL) in 2002, serving as both a writer and cast member for eight seasons until 2010. During his tenure, he became widely recognized for his absurd and surrealist comedy, originating popular characters like MacGruber.

Forte reprised his iconic role in the ‘MacGruber’ television series for Peacock in 2021, showcasing the character’s enduring appeal.
