Myanmar Wint Yamone Naing is a Burmese actress who rose to prominence through her roles in a range of television series and films, establishing a career that began in modeling and transitioned to acting.
Wint Yamone Naing served as a brand ambassador for Sofy Eva in Myanmar for two years, starting in 2013. During this period, she participated in their marketing campaigns, which included starring in TV commercials and appearing at brand launching and promotion events.
Wint Yamone Naing, born Wint Yamone Hlaing on August 1, 1990, in Dawei, Tanintharyi Division, Myanmar, commenced her journey in the entertainment industry in 2010. She received formal training in modeling and catwalk from Tin Moe Lwin’s program. Her early career involved participation in various runway fashion shows and several modeling competitions. In 2010, she secured the second runner-up award and a product title award at Miss Christmas. This was followed by competing in the Mr & Miss Maxamin Forte model contest in 2011 and winning the second runner-up and Miss Popular awards at Miss Now How 2011. Her success in modeling culminated in winning the Miss Lily Contest in 2012.
Her acting career began with a TV commercial for Air Mandalay in 2012, directed by Aung Ko Latt. This led to appearances on commercial billboards and magazine covers. A significant turning point occurred in February 2012 when she was cast as Mar Yar Cho in “The Sign of Love,” the first TV series produced in Myanmar by Forever Group. Despite portraying a villain, her performance was well-received, and the series achieved commercial success across its initial three seasons and a subsequent Book 2. This role significantly boosted her public profile and contributed to the growth of the Myanmar TV series industry.
Wint Yamone Naing expanded her career into film, making her cinematic debut in “Angel of Eden” in 2016, where she played a main role alongside Sai Sai Kham Leng, Paing Phyo Thu, and May Grace Perry. She also featured in “The Filmmakers” with Sai Sai Kham Leng and Phway Phway. Throughout her career, she has consistently taken on diverse roles in both television and film, including the comedy series “Happy Beach” (2013), the romance drama “Chit Thu Htwin Tae Atkhayar” (2017), and the action series “Room Number?” (2020), where she played a senior police officer from the Criminal Investigation Department. Her dedication to her craft has enabled her to build a steady and notable career in the Burmese entertainment landscape. In 2018, she officially changed her name from Wint Yamone Hlaing to Wint Yamone Naing.
