Xia Brookside

Xia Brookside launched her professional wrestling career in August 2015, making her in-ring debut with All Star Wrestling in Liverpool, where she teamed with El Ligero to defeat Kay Lee Ray and Sammy D. She quickly established herself on the British independent circuit, appearing in promotions such as International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom, Southside Wrestling Entertainment, and Kamikaze Pro. A significant early achievement includes winning the Empress Pro Invitational in May 2016, where she defeated top talents Toni Storm and Kay Lee Ray. Brookside further solidified her early dominance by securing the Pro Wrestling Ulster Women’s Championship in 2016 and the IPW:UK Women’s Championship in May 2018.

Brookside’s career saw a major turning point when she began working with World Wonder Ring Stardom in Japan in 2017. Her performances there, including gaining points in the prestigious 5STAR Grand Prix by defeating Kris Wolf, significantly enhanced her international reputation. In 2018, she gained widespread recognition after being announced for the second WWE Mae Young Classic, an appearance that led to her signing with WWE’s NXT UK brand. As part of NXT UK, she participated in the tournament for the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Championship, showcasing her skills on a larger platform.
