Yahor Lapo

Yahor Lapo was born on June 20, 1982, in Minsk, Belarus. He became a modern pentathlete, joining the SK VS Minsk club. His career included representing Belarus in international competitions. Lapo competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, in the men’s individual modern pentathlon event. In this competition, he finished in 35th place among 36 competitors.

Prior to his Olympic appearance, Lapo achieved notable success at the 2008 World Modern Pentathlon Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. At these championships, he earned an individual bronze medal. He also contributed to Belarus’s performance, securing a gold medal in the relay event and a bronze medal in the team event.
