Gable Steveson

Gable Steveson established himself as a wrestling prodigy early in his career, becoming a four-time State Champion during his high school tenure at Apple Valley, where he amassed an extraordinary prep record of 210-3, including an impressive 171-match win streak. His pre-collegiate success also included earning titles as a two-time Cadet World Champion and a Junior World Champion in freestyle wrestling, distinctions that garnered him the Junior Schalles Award in 2017 and the Junior Hodge Trophy in 2018. Steveson continued his dominant collegiate career, ultimately achieving the best winning percentage in Gopher Wrestling history with a career record of 103-3 (.972) and becoming the program’s only five-time All-American. Further solidifying his legacy, Steveson is the sole heavyweight wrestler to win the prestigious Dan Hodge Trophy twice (2021, 2022) and the only athlete in Big Ten history to capture four heavyweight titles (2020, 2021, 2022, 2025).

Leveraging his multi-sport athleticism, Steveson expanded his professional career with a stint in WWE professional wrestling from 2021 to 2024, followed by signing an NFL contract with the Buffalo Bills in 2024. Most recently, Gable Steveson transitioned to professional mixed martial arts, making a successful and impactful debut at LFA 217 on September 12, 2025. Demonstrating his formidable skill set, he secured a decisive victory via technical knockout in the first round, marking an exciting new chapter as a distinguished multi-sport professional athlete.
