Yancy Butler

Yancy Butler is an American actress known for her roles in film and television, including “Hard Target” and the supernatural drama series “Witchblade.” After making her television debut in ‘Law & Order,’ Yancy Butler quickly established herself as a versatile talent, securing a series regular role as an android police officer in ‘Mann & Machine’ in 1992, followed by a starring role in the series ‘South Beach’ in 1993. Her burgeoning film career took off with a starring role opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme in John Woo’s action thriller Hard Target in 1993. This success led to further prominent feature film roles, including Drop Zone in 1994. Butler then returned to television as a series regular on the CBS drama Brooklyn South, a role she held from 1997 to 1998.

She reprised her role in the acclaimed sequel Kick-Ass 2 in 2013, further showcasing her ability to navigate both independent and studio productions.
