Winona Ryder

Winona Ryder rose to prominence with her breakthrough role as Lydia Deetz in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice (1988), following her acting debut in Lucas (1986). She quickly established herself as a significant talent with roles in the critically acclaimed Heathers (1989) and Edward Scissorhands (1990). Her early career success was recognized with a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and a National Board Review award for Best Supporting Actress for Mermaids in 1990.
