Yogi Ferrell is a professional basketball player recognized for his collegiate achievements and his tenure in the NBA and various international leagues. After leading Park Tudor School to two IHSAA Class 2A State Championships in 2011 and 2012, Yogi Ferrell built a record-breaking collegiate career at Indiana University, becoming the first player in Hoosiers history to lead the team in assists for four consecutive years. From 2012 to 2016, Ferrell set the school’s all-time assists record with 633 and holds the record for career games played and started with 137. His consistent performance earned him Second-team All-American honors in 2016, First-team All-Big Ten selections in both 2015 and 2016, a Second-team All-Big Ten nod in 2014, and a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2013.
Following his impactful tenure in the NBA, Ferrell took his talent to the international stage, competing in elite competitions such as the EuroLeague and ABA League. A standout player for Cedevita Olimpija, he led the team to consecutive Slovenian League championships in 2022 and 2023, alongside securing two Slovenian Cup victories in the same years. His exceptional leadership and performance culminated in him being named the Slovenian Basketball League Finals MVP in 2023, a year where he also earned the title of EuroCup Top Scorer, demonstrating his consistent high-level output on a global platform.
