Yuko Oshima is a Japanese actress and former member of the idol girl group AKB48, known for her contributions to music and consistent acting career across film and television. After being selected from 12,000 applicants to join AKB48’s Team K in 2006, Yuko Oshima swiftly became a central figure in the acclaimed idol group. Her career in entertainment began a decade earlier, in 1996, when she signed as a child actor with Central Kodomo Gekidan. By 2005, she transitioned into a junior idol role within the short-lived project Doll’s Vox, produced by Toshihiko Takamizawa of The Alfee.
