Zach Harrison

Zach Harrison was born on August 14, 2001, in Lewis Center, Ohio. He attended Olentangy Orange High School, where his athletic prowess was recognized early. He ran a 10.7-second 100 meters and a 21.5-second 200 meters in high school track & field. Harrison was named first-team all-Ohio by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association and also participated in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where he was a finalist for the All-American Bowl Man of the Year. He committed to Ohio State University, a five-star recruit, playing college football from 2019 to 2022.

During his time at Ohio State, Harrison played in 46 games, starting 28. He accumulated 106 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 13.0 sacks, 11 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, and one interception. He was recognized with first-team All-Big Ten honors in 2022 and second-team All-Big Ten honors in both 2020 and 2021. He graduated in December 2022 with a degree in criminology. Following his collegiate career, Harrison was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft as the 75th overall pick.

In his rookie NFL season, Harrison appeared in 16 games for the Atlanta Falcons, recording 33 total tackles, three sacks, and one pass defended. He followed this with a 2024 season appearing in 17 games with one start, where he registered 26 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack. Harrison notched his first career safety in a Week 15 win in Las Vegas during the 2024 season. Across his first two NFL seasons (2023-2024), he played in 33 games, tallying 59 tackles, six quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, and three passes defensed. In 2025 (in progress), he has appeared in 5 games with 13 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
