Marshall Jefferson Joins B-Side Project | News | MN2S

Chicago house pioneer Marshall Jefferson has joined the judging panel for the 2016 B-Side Project.

The B-Side Project is an event geared around combining and merging musicians who work in different genres to create exciting new sounds together.

Marshall Jefferson joins Roni Size, La Roux, Nu:Tone, Talvin Singh and many other renowned artists and producers on the judging panel for this year’s event. The judges will evaluate the work of B-Side Project’s entrants and bestow prizes upon the best artists. One of the top prizes will be Best Remix Production, awarded to the team of the artist who submitted the original song and the producer who remixed it in an exciting way.

The idea behind B-Side Project is that merging genres and musicians together can create great, unique sounds and bring the artists new exposure from different audiences. Songs produced for the Project are nurtured and promoted across various forms of media in an effort to bring more attention to the great music. The event is supported by major pro audio brands including Amphion Loudspeakers, Metropolis Studios, ACS Custom and ROLI.
