Tech House DJ Omid 16B has appeared on Mixmag’s list of the best 11 Iranian DJs.

The list was published as a defiant response to Donald Trump’s infamously offensive and highly discriminatory travel ban on the citizens of seven Muslim majority nations, Iran included.

As Mixmag says in the list’s preface, in light of the ban ‘’it’s become more important now than ever to understand and appreciate contributions from these cultures.’’ This can help break down the misguided prejudices that lead to a policy such as this ban from ever being implemented.
