Now anyone can fulfill their DJ aspirations with the release of SoundCloud’s newly launched SoundCloud DJ subscription.
About 2 years ago, October 2018, SoundCloud announced a streaming integration with certain partnerships during the Amsterdam Dance Event festival. Fast forward to now and the audio platform is moving forward with their new DJ plan. SoundCloud DJ offers unlimited offline access to the platform’s catalog of DJ performance software integrations, such as electronic and hip-hop hits and remixes. The subscription plan is being offered at a $19.99-a-month rate. With this new launch, you will be able to create whenever and wherever inspiration comes.
Until recently, digital workflows for DJs were limited to downloads and physical media, but streaming workflows are the future.

SoundCloud DJ is claimed to be the largest of any offline plan, and sits at a lower price point than most competitors. It also includes a number of admirable features added, such as in-app tracking data so DJs using SoundCloud DJ are able to identify tracks by details like tempo and key (available via Algoriddim and Virtual DJ). SoundCloud DJ is already available for subscription today, with extensions to be added in the coming months. In the next few months SoundCloud will also start introducing curated playlists for future DJ sets within the program. Throughout the release, SoundCloud DJ will also be working with Virtual DJ, and Denon DJ and Cross DJ will be added over time.
SoundCloud’s mission is to build a DJ toolkit for the next generation. As DJs are one of the largest and most foundational communities on SoundCloud…
