Rising star Era Istrefi has released the new single ‘Prisoner’ alongside the video for her official World Cup 2018 song with Will Smith and Nicky Jam.

 
Era Istrefi continues her rapid rise to superstardom with the new single release ‘Prisoner’ on Ultra Music. The reggae-tinged song was written by songwriting team Emily Warren and Scott Harris, who have previously written for The Chainsmokers and Shawn Mendes among others. The song has been praised by Billboard, who take it as evidence that Istrefi’s “creative drive cannot be contained.”

Era Istrefi has also been busy this month with the release of the official 2018 World Cup single ‘Live It Up’ which also featured Latin superstar Nicky Jam and blockbuster actor/rapper Will Smith in his return to music. The song now has an official video which stars Istrefi, Jam and Smith alongside a bounty of passionate football fans and players.
