Mista Silva premieres Murda video via Noisey | News | MN2S

Afrobeats superstar Mista Silva has premiered the new video for ‘Murda’ via Noisey.

The video is a widescreen affair featuring the artist rapping and singing in a futuristic corridor, while he and a cast of characters paint, play football, and sit by a pond.

Noisey give the track the highest of praise in their premiere article, calling it “fire” and “an infectious, sweating banger that encapsulates why Afrobeats has been popping off.” Indeed, Afrobeats has been described as one of the most important inner-city London music scenes at the moment, and Mista Silva has been called the figurehead.

Mista Silva’s impact on the Afrobeats scene is undeniable. The Ghanaian-British artist was nominated for his third Best African Act MOBO Award last year, and he recently performed at Boiler Room with L-Vis 1990 in what was one of the most energetic and vital performances Boiler Room has seen in recent years.

As Noisey pointed out in their article, ‘Murda’s summery vibes are a stark contrast to our current winter weather, which means the song is likely to stay popular throughout the rest of the year.

Book Mista Silva now to bring the Afrobeats legend to your venue.
