TV presenter and MN2S talent Suzi Perry has been signed by BT Sport to play a prominent role in the network’s sport programming.
Suzi Perry is best known for coverage of live motorsport for the BBC. She also had a hand in presenting Wimbledon, the London Marathon, Royal Ascot and the Olympics for the broadcaster.
The veteran TV presenter went down in history as the first woman to take the main anchor role on a Formula One show when she fronted the BBC’s 2013 F1 coverage.
Perry’s work outside of the BBC includes hosting the popular Channel 5 programme The Gadget Show and a guest stint as a panellist on the same channel’s The Wright Stuff.
At BT Sport, Perry will be joining a roster of respected presenters including Gary Lineker and Clare Balding. She will present the FIM MotoGP World Championship, FIM Speedway and the World Rally Championship as BT Sport’s new resident motorsport expert. Her coverage of MotoGP will commence on Thursday 17th March.
Executives at BT Sport have hinted that Perry will also be presenting some of their non-motorsport programmes, but these shows are “to be announced in the coming weeks.”
BT Sport is sure to benefit from Perry’s presenting experience and motorsport expertise. We wish Suzi the best of luck at the network.
