Djibril Cisse is a former French professional footballer who spends his time DJing in clubs the world over.
At the height of his sporting success, Cisse was one of Liverpool’s most valued players. He has also played for a host of other teams, including Queens Park Rangers, Marseilles, Sunderland, and the French national team.
Cisse has been moonlighting as a DJ throughout his career, releasing the promotional mixtape The DJ Inside Me in 2006, which featured tracks by the likes of Masters At Work, Groove Armada, and Nassau. Recently, Cisse has expressed his preference for playing hip hop, trap, and EDM during his DJ sets also.
During a brief period of retirement, Djibril Cisse pursued DJing full time, finding major success as Mariah Carey’s opening act in Paris. Now he has returned to the field, it’s still clear that DJing is more than a hobby for this passionate spinner.
