Stanley Stevenson-Byrne, professionally known as Fox Stevenson, was born on January 25, 1993, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. His journey into electronic music production commenced in the early 2000s, with his initial release appearing on Newgrounds. By the age of 15 or 16, he had already composed his first vocal track. He gained significant recognition through the YouTube-based music community, particularly through Liquicity, an influential drum and bass label, which featured “Cloudhead,” one of his early tracks produced under his former alias, Stan SB. His compositions have also been distributed via SoundCloud since 2012, initially as Stan SB and later as Fox Stevenson from 2013.
Stevenson’s career gained momentum with the release of his *Endless* EP in 2013, with its title track accumulating over 2.5 million listens on SoundCloud. In 2014, he established his own record label, Cloudhead Records, through which he released the *All This Time* EP later that year. This period also saw the release of *Throwdown*, an EP accompanied by a live online premiere in July 2014.
A significant collaboration emerged in August 2015 with British DJ Curbi on the track “Hoohah,” released via Spinnin’ Records. The following year, March 2016, marked his signing with the dubstep label Disciple, under which he released the *No Fox Given* EP in April 2016 and the single “Rocket” for the *Alliance, Vol. 3* EP in September 2016. His debut album, *Killjoy*, was released on October 18, 2019. He later announced his second album, *Sunk Cost Fallacy*, which was released on June 27, 2025, to positive reviews.
