Issues, an American metalcore band, blended diverse genres to achieve critical acclaim and built a dedicated fanbase before their disbandment in 2024. After the release of their self-titled debut studio album in 2014, Issues quickly established themselves as a genre-bending force, with the record charting impressively at number-nine on the US Billboard 200. Formed in 2012, the American metalcore band rapidly garnered attention for its distinctive sound, which skillfully incorporated elements of metalcore, nu metal, pop, and contemporary R&B. This unique fusion earned them a reputation for pioneering what was often described as ‘nu metalcore’ or ‘R&Bcore.’ Their early career momentum was also fueled by their critically acclaimed debut EP, Black Diamonds, released in 2012, setting the stage for their breakthrough full-length.
