Born in Philadelphia, LSDXOXO moved to New York City and quickly became a key figure within the GHE20GOTH1K collective. During this period, he developed a distinctive DJ style, manipulating mainstream pop tracks and vocal samples by layering them with Baltimore club, ghetto house, hardcore, electro, and techno sounds. This approach, characterized by its high energy, allowed him to gain attention for his ability to transform dance floors within the underground club scene. His early work at GHE20GOTH1K provided a foundation for his production style and approach to music-making, contributing to his growing reputation.

Currently based in Berlin, LSDXOXO continues to evolve his sound and influence within electronic music. He has launched his own club night, Floorgasm, and is recognized for his role among a new generation of techno artists who infuse the genre with elements of Black queer culture and a sense of playfulness. His work has included notable collaborations and remixes for prominent artists such as Kelela, Lady Gaga, PinkPantheress, and Shygirl. Milestones include the launch of his label, Fantasy Audio Group (F.A.G.), with its debut release “Delusions of Grandeur (D.O.G.),” and the release of his EP “DEDICATED 2 DISRESPECT” via XL Recordings, followed by a remix album. These projects emphasize visibility and unapologetic expression for Black artists in contemporary music.

LSDXOXO’s career trajectory includes extensive global touring and regular appearances at Boiler Room events, further cementing his presence in the international club circuit. His contributions to the music scene are frequently covered by publications such as Mixmag, Pitchfork, and DJ Mag, highlighting his impact on electronic and club music. He has also been involved in performances and collaborations that demonstrate his versatility and commitment to pushing sonic boundaries, including DJing for Beyoncé. This progression showcases a sustained commitment to his artistic vision and an expanding global footprint in the music industry.
