Majesty

Majesty aka King Maj is a London based producer who has turned a lot of heads in recent times. The self-assured house talent is best known for his collaboration with Vanz, in which the pair combined their backgrounds and influences to produce clean and deep house music that resonated in people’s hearts and on dancefloors worldwide. In terms of Majesty’s solo career, it’s now an important time in his life where he can set new targets and find another approach to projects and collaborations. As such he has already achieved great success in getting signed Kerri Chandler’s Madtech Records. His first EP for the label features a cool deep but dubby sounding track called ‘I Can Tell’ which was a firm summer favourite, and a follow up EP came on the Vintage Music Label. As a DJ, Majesty is very slick in the booth, mixing up his tastes and influences into coherent and intoxicating sets that seduce the soul as well as make people dance. A regular around London, he has played venues such as Electric Brixton, Coronet Theatre, The Scala and Ministry of Sound as well as many others.
