Robin Schulz

Robin Alexander Schulz was born on April 28, 1987, in Osnabrück, West Germany. He began his career as a DJ at the age of 17, establishing his own club night within three years. By 2009, Schulz started producing his own music, which garnered millions of views on his YouTube channel, laying the groundwork for his future international acclaim. His early work showcased his developing style, leading to a strong online presence before his major breakthrough.

Schulz achieved widespread recognition in 2014 with his remix of “Waves” by Mr. Probz, released on February 4, 2014. This remix topped charts in multiple European countries and the United Kingdom, and received a nomination for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Building on this success, he released another globally successful remix on June 6, 2014, “Prayer in C” by Lilly Wood and the Prick, which also reached number one in numerous countries. These releases solidified his position in the electronic music scene and led to the release of his debut album, “Prayer,” later that year.

His career continued to flourish with subsequent album releases, including “Sugar” in 2015 and “Uncovered” in 2017. The single “Sugar” featuring Francesco Yates amassed over a billion streams on Spotify, demonstrating his sustained appeal. In 2017, a documentary film titled “Robin Schulz – The Movie” was released, offering insight into his life post-initial success and introducing his fashion line, “Q/S Designed by Robin Schulz.” Throughout his career, Schulz has collaborated with notable artists such as David Guetta, Cheat Codes, T.I., and Chris Brown, further expanding his musical reach and influence.
