Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes is an American rock band that gained critical acclaim for their blues rock and soul sound, earning multiple Grammy Awards and embarking on successful tours. After independently recording their debut album, ‘Boys & Girls’, with producer Andrija Tokic, Alabama Shakes swiftly captured national attention following the online sharing of their track ‘You Ain’t Alone’ by influential music blog Aquarium Drunkard. This early exposure, following two years of honing their blues rock and soul sound in clubs across the Southeastern United States, led to numerous record label offers and culminated in their signing with ATO Records in 2011. The band, formed in 2009, featured original members Brittany Howard (lead singer/guitarist), Heath Fogg (guitarist), Zac Cockrell (bassist), and Steve Johnson (drummer).

This marked a significant new chapter for the acclaimed group as they prepare for their 2025 tour and further studio releases.
