Alex Rose is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and RnB performer. He recently released his first album Sexflix to widespread acclaim.
After becoming interested in music at a young age, Rose would enter school dancing and singing competitions, with early influences including artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and Arcangel. Rose released a few singles back in 2016, but his first hit came in 2017 when he released a remix of his song Percocet with Lenny Tavarez. He was hailed as the new voice of trap and the track now has over 56 million plays on Spotify. Rose is part of the resurgence of Latin-American style music and is part of the movement which is making these once lesser known sounds commercially successful. He regularly works with artists such as Cazzu and Rauw Alejandro who have helped to cement his reputation in the urban music scene. On the back of the single Percocet, Rose released his first album Sexflix, and began to tour in his native Puerto Rico. The tour was a sell out, and his fanbase started expanding across the rest of Latin America and the world. He embarked on another tour, this time including countries such as Paraguay, Chile, the Dominican Republic and America.
2019 saw the release of two more albums for Rose, Back in My Days and LOST. The artist now has nearly 3 millions followers on YouTube and continues to tour, collaborate and spend time writing and recording music.
