Alex Rose

Alex Rose was born on April 16, 1993, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. His early musical influences included artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, and Arcangel. He began his music career by publishing songs on his SoundCloud account in 2015, with early releases including “No Resisto” and “Cuando le Caigo” (a collaboration). These initial steps marked the beginning of his development as a recording artist.

Rose gained wider recognition with the release of his debut EP, “Sexflix,” in March 2018. This project featured an R&B-inspired sound and included tracks like “Déjate Llevar,” which incorporated melodies from established R&B songs. His breakthrough single, “Toda,” saw a remix featuring Argentine rapper Cazzu, which helped the track reach a broader audience. Another significant release, “Jangueo,” achieved international success, appearing on Apple Music Top 100 playlists in multiple countries, including Colombia, Mexico, and Spain. He has also collaborated with Arcángel, an artist he considers a major influence.

Rose has consistently released new music throughout his career. In 2019, he released the album “LOST,” followed by “ENR” in 2022 and “Oversize” in 2023. His 2024 releases include the EP “Season 1,” which featured a collaboration with White Bear. Rose’s work has been noted for blending R&B influences with Latin trap, contributing to the genre’s crossover appeal and mainstream success.
