Maya Diab, a Lebanese singer, actress, and television personality, is recognized for her diverse career in the entertainment industry, including her musical achievements and brand collaborations. After winning the Gold Medal in the fashion category at Studio El Fan in 1996, Maya Diab quickly established herself as a multi-talented force in entertainment. Building on her early recognition, she participated in the Miss Lebanon competition in 1998 before competing in the TV presenting category at Studio El Fan in 2000. This led to her joining the popular Lebanese girl group, The 4 Cats, in 2001, where she contributed to their musical success.
Diab expanded her presence into acting, making her film debut in 2007 alongside The 4 Cats and Hany Ramzy in Asad W Arbaa Kotat. Diab further broadened her acting portfolio with roles in the television series Kalam Niswan in 2009 and El Donia Heik in 2010. Following her departure from The 4 Cats in 2010, she embarked on a highly successful solo music career. Her debut solo single, ‘Habibi,’ was released in 2011, quickly followed by the impactful duet ‘Sawa’ with acclaimed artist Ramy Ayach in the same year.
This significant accolade led to her virtually opening the 12th edition of the Arab Fashion Week in Dubai later that month. Demonstrating her ongoing artistic prolificacy, Maya Diab released a substantial body of work in 2023, including multiple albums and EPs: My Maya I, My Maya II, My Maya III, and My Maya IV. She further expanded her discography with the release of #MyMayaV in 2023, showcasing her continued evolution as a recording artist and ensuring her sustained presence in the music industry.
