Alli Walker

Alli Walker, born Alli Jean Walker in 1989 or 1990, grew up in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Her early musical training included piano and drums, eventually leading her to learn the bagpipes and participate in international bagpiping competitions. Inspired by Taylor Swift, Walker pursued a career in country music, turning down a scholarship to the University of Arkansas. She briefly attended the University of Prince Edward Island as a vocal major before dropping out to focus on her country music aspirations. In 2009, Walker moved to Toronto, Ontario, to further her career in both country music and modeling. She met her husband there shortly after attending a Rascal Flatts concert.

After a decade of dedicated music development, Walker released her debut album, “The Basement Sessions: What I’ve Learned So Far,” on September 13, 2019. The album’s tracks were recorded in her home’s basement with her husband. Subsequently, Walker and her husband relocated to Kelowna, British Columbia, where she released her second album, “Growing Up,” on March 10, 2023. This album featured singles such as “Red Wine or Whiskey” and a female perspective version of “Sand in My Boots.” Later in 2023, her song “The Whiskey’s Gone” gained significant attention on social media.

This success led Walker to move to Nashville, Tennessee, at the end of 2023, where she released “Hung Up.” In March 2024, Walker signed her first record deal with RECORDS Nashville and launched the single “I Like Big Trucks.” April 2024 saw her gain widespread media coverage after performing “Creek” at a Nashville Predators playoff hockey game, an event that involved drinking beer from a dead catfish, which was later featured on “Hockey Night in Canada” and ESPN. Walker was nominated for Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards and also received nominations in 2025 for Innovative Campaign of the Year and Video of the Year for “Ride It Out.”
