Banda MS

Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, widely recognized simply as Banda MS, is a traditional Mexican musical ensemble originating from the coastal city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa. Established in 2003 by brothers Sergio and Alberto Lizárraga, who continue to participate actively in the group, the ensemble took the initials of its founding location to form its distinct identity. The band officially entered the professional recording industry with the release of their debut studio album, No Podrás, in the year 2004, which helped them establish a foothold in the competitive regional Mexican music scene.

Over the subsequent years, the collective achieved remarkable commercial triumphs and widespread recognition throughout North America. Their acclaimed studio production titled Qué Bendición managed to climb to the number one position on the prominent Billboard Latin Albums chart in the United States, thereby solidifying their reputation as a leading prominent figure within the genre. Under the steady guidance of Sergio Lizárraga, the group continually refined their sound while retaining the core elements that initially attracted their dedicated fan base.

Throughout their extensive career, Banda MS has maintained an active touring schedule and a prolific recording output. Their consistent delivery of heartfelt ballads and upbeat numbers has allowed them to connect deeply with diverse audiences on both sides of the border. Today, they remain a defining force in contemporary Latin music, representing the rich cultural heritage of Sinaloa on international stages.
