Collective Soul

Collective Soul, an American rock band, has consistently delivered multi-platinum albums and numerous chart-topping hits across distinct rock subgenres. After their independent label release, ‘Hints, Allegations, and Things Left Unsaid’ in 1993 saw its lead single ‘Shine’ garner significant regional radio play. Atlantic Records re-released the album in 1994, propelling ‘Shine’ to No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart and No.

1 Mainstream Rock singles ‘Precious Declaration’ and ‘Listen.’ Their fourth album, ‘Dosage’ (1999), also earned platinum status, featuring ‘Heavy’ which held No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart for a then-record 15 consecutive weeks. The band performed at Woodstock 1999, followed by ‘Blender’ (October 2000), achieving RIAA gold certification. After their ‘Seven Year Itch: Greatest Hits 1994–2001’ (2001) compilation, Collective Soul established their independent label, El Music Group, releasing ‘Youth’ (November 2004), featuring ‘Counting the Days’ (No.

8 Mainstream Rock) and ‘Better Now’ (No. 9 Adult Top 40). Their 2007 album, ‘Afterwords,’ featured ‘Hollywood’ as the theme for American Idol. In September 2009, Collective Soul was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

Their most recent studio album, ‘Vibrating,’ was released in August 2022. Building on their enduring career, Collective Soul announced their first double album, ‘Here to Eternity,’ in February 2024, alongside a nationwide tour with Hootie & the Blowfish. ‘Here to Eternity’ was officially released on May 17, 2024, recorded at Elvis Presley’s former estate in Palm Springs, CA.
