Hey Violet, originally formed as Cherri Bomb in 2008, is an American pop rock band that has made significant strides in the music industry. The band, consisting of Rena Lovelis, Nia Lovelis, and Casey Moreta, began their journey as an all-female hard rock group, quickly gaining attention for their energetic performances and unique sound. Their debut EP, “Stark,” released in 2011, showcased their talent and earned them a spot opening for the Foo Fighters, marking a pivotal moment in their early career.
In 2015, the band rebranded as Hey Violet, embracing a new musical direction that incorporated pop and electropop elements. This transformation was highlighted by the release of their EP “I Can Feel It” and the successful single “This Is Why.” Their partnership with Hi or Hey Records, founded by 5 Seconds of Summer, further propelled their visibility, allowing them to tour extensively and connect with a broader audience.

The band continued to evolve, releasing their second studio album, “From the Outside,” in 2017, which included the popular track “Break My Heart.”
As they approached their final chapter, Hey Violet announced their breakup in 2024, following the release of their last album, “Aftertaste.” Throughout their career, they have been celebrated for their dynamic sound and engaging performances, leaving a lasting impact on fans and the music industry alike.
