Lomba Sihir

Lomba Sihir, an Indonesian music group from Jakarta, was formed in 2019. The band comprises Baskara Putra, Natasha Udu, Rayhan Noor, Tristan Juliano, and Enrico Octaviano. Their formation originated from their role as Hindia’s live band, with many members also involved in the recording process of Hindia’s album “Menari dengan Bayangan.” This collaborative history provided a foundation for their easy chemistry and shared understanding within the group. The band operates under the Sun Eater label.

In March 2021, Lomba Sihir released their debut studio album titled “Selamat Datang di Ujung Dunia.” This album showcased their blend of electronica, alternative rock, indie rock, progressive rock, new wave, and pop rock genres. A notable development occurred in December 2022 when Wisnu Ikhsantama, a founding member, departed from the band to pursue other musical projects. The band continued to release new music and undertake significant activities. In June 2023, Lomba Sihir initiated their first concert tour, “Parade Sihir: Tur Perdana Lomba Sihir,” performing in four cities across Indonesia.

The band’s career also includes notable collaborations and recognitions. They collaborated with the rock band Kotak to re-record their single “Beraksi” and with Katon Bagaskara and KLa Project on “Rentang Asmara.” In December 2023, they released the single “Selamanya,” serving as a tribute to their former manager, Norman “Emon” Permadi. This single led to their mixing engineer, Stevano, and mastering engineer, Dimas Pradipta, receiving an Anugerah Musik Indonesia award for Best Sound Engineering Team in 2024. Lomba Sihir was also nominated for Best Band from Asia at the NME Awards 2022, highlighting their growing regional impact. Their second studio album, “Obrolan Jam 3 Pagi,” is scheduled for release in 2025.
