Garnering early acclaim as the live band for Hindia and contributing to his album ‘Menari dengan Bayangan’, Lomba Sihir officially formed in 2019 under the Sun Eater label, quickly establishing themselves as a dynamic force in Indonesian alternative pop. Comprising Baskara Putra, Natasha Udu, Rayhan Noor, Tristan Juliano, and Enrico Octaviano, the group swiftly released their debut single ‘Hati dan Paru-Paru’ in 2021. This was quickly followed by their first studio album, ‘Selamat Datang di Ujung Dunia,’ launched in March 2021. The album received critical praise for its innovative blend of electronica, alternative rock, indie rock, progressive rock, new wave, and pop rock genres.

Demonstrating their growing live presence, Lomba Sihir embarked on their inaugural concert tour, ‘Parade Sihir: Tur Perdana Lomba Sihir,’ in June 2023, successfully performing across four major cities in Indonesia. The band’s collaborative spirit also led to several notable projects, including a re-recorded version of the single ‘Beraksi’ with rock band Kotak in 2023, as well as a collaboration with Katon Bagaskara and KLa Project on ‘Rentang Asmara.’ In December 2023, Lomba Sihir released the poignant single ‘Selamanya,’ a special tribute to their late manager, Norman ‘Emon’ Permadi. This track underscored their artistic depth and commitment, with its mixing engineer, Stevano, and mastering engineer, Dimas Pradipta, subsequently receiving an Anugerah Musik Indonesia award for Best Sound Engineering Team in 2024, highlighting the exceptional production quality of their work. Lomba Sihir remains a prominent and innovative presence in the regional music scene, consistently delivering their signature dynamic sound.

Building on their acclaimed discography and touring success, the band is currently preparing for the highly anticipated release of their second studio album, ‘Obrolan Jam 3 Pagi,’ scheduled for 2025. Their continued evolution and impactful contributions solidify Lomba Sihir’s position as a leading alternative pop act.
