Madeline Merlo

Madeline Merlo released her debut single ‘Sinking Like a Stone’ in 2014, which immediately charted on Billboard Canada Country for twenty consecutive weeks. This early success was followed by significant industry recognition, with Merlo earning the prestigious CCMA Rising Star award and being named BCCMA Female Artist of the Year, both in 2015. Her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Free Soul,’ was released in 2016, further solidifying her presence in the country music scene. Demonstrating her versatile talent, Merlo also took on an acting role as Nancy Taylor in the 2016 musical film ‘Country Crush’ and lent her singing voice to the character Sonata Dusk in the 2014 animated-live action hybrid movie ‘My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks Animated.’ Building on the momentum of her debut album, Merlo saw two of its singles achieve significant chart success.

Looking ahead to 2025, Merlo celebrated another Top 10 hit on Billboard Canada Country with ‘Middle of the Bed’ and secured the ‘Musical Collaboration of the Year’ award with Dustin Lynch at the 2025 CCMA Awards, underscoring her ongoing influence and celebrated partnerships within country music.
