Marvin Sapp is an American Gospel musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer known for his chart-topping music and pastoral leadership, having transitioned from a successful musical career to founding and leading churches. After achieving significant crossover recognition with the 2007 release of his album Thirsty, Marvin Sapp cemented his status as a chart-topping gospel artist. The album’s lead single, ‘Never Would Have Made It,’ became an international hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart and climbing to number 14 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
